Worship Services

Corporate worship is a vital part of being and making disciples of Jesus Christ. We pray, sing, engage God’s Word, and participate with Christ in Communion. As we joyfully gather each week in anticipation of engaging with God, we are formed into a community of people who are being transformed into the image of Jesus. We invite you to join with us in one of the services that we offer.

Sunday

St. Mark’s worship is liturgical, making use of both traditional and alternative settings and styles, primarily using Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW).

8:15 and 10:4 am Services Include:

Holy Communion every service
Weekly Children's Sermons
Choir Singing as scheduled
Chicago Folk service once monthly
Noisy Offering on 4th Sundays
*This involves the children gathering coins from the congregation for donation to World Hunger Relief.
Special Events and Recognition Events
The Nursery is also available during both services for children birth to 5yrs.

Saturday 5:30 p.m. Service Includes:

Weekly Holy Communion
Nursery access

Special Events:

Special events include choir participation in festival worship services, choir cantatas, and special music by congregation members. Please review our Calendar for information concerning upcoming events.
